Before and After
Before
This device was not taken care of over the years. There is internal oxidation which is not allowing water to flow correctly. It is also preventing the device to work properly. Although it was insulated in a hot box, without your yearly inspection this can happen. During your yearly inspection we can recommend a repair or cleaning before this happens to yours.
After
The backflow needed to be replaced. The surrounding pipes also had corrosion and needed to be replaced as well. After the replacement you will have better water flow and a better quality of water as well.
